awesome. too bad the DVD release is heavily edited, and doesn’t include all the music they played on the show, which in some cases was integral to the scenes. You’d think they would gotten the clearance.
Actually “Baby It’s Cold Outside” is from Season 3. According to Wikipedia’s list of episodes. I’m sick of these studios re-releasing edited / modified versions of these old classic TV Shows on DVD. This was one of my favorites growing up. I’m sick of copyright issues, watering down the show for DVD Release. I will not buy Season 1 until they get it right.
@juliabohemian Kind of the attitude a cat would have if it could speak.
@320k “Baby It’s Cold Outside” from season 2, I believe.
Tommy Chong hasn’t got shit on Johnny Fever.
Have you noticed that ALL of today’s TV shows are not about the medium sized cities that most Americans live in? Back in the 70s and 80s it was all about Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Hazard County Kentucky, and a budding young Phoenix. Today, it’s all about New York, LA, and Florida. Period. Who cares? Most of us live elsewhere. It’s exciting in the interior too you idiot writers!
What a GREAT clip! Thank you for posting! “To pale grey …” Lol.
THE BEST TIMES IN MY LIFE,MY BELOVED 70S,I MISS YOU KRP YOU WERE MY FAVORITE SHOW,I WANTED YOUR EACH AND EVERY EPISODE TO GO ON FOR EVER,JOHNNY REMINDED ME OF ME,AND THE EPISODE WITH MORE MUSIC AND LESS NESMAN,TO FUNNY LES IF YOUR AROUND STOP OFF AND SAY HI,WONT SAY NUTHIN TO NOBODY LOVED YOU,AND LOVED YOU ALL,YOU MADE A TEENAGER ONCE THAT DIDNT LAUGH VERY MUCH HEART LAUGH ALL THE TIME,YOUR MISSED
You seriously making a point of that?? Haaaa!
I love that fact that “Hungry Heart” by Bruce Springsteen runs 3:04 and this scene is over four minutes long….maybe he let it track into the next track.
HAH! Mrs Carlson made me laugh so hard I scared my wife!
I always wanted Jennifer to hook up with Johnny Fever.
One of my top 3 favorite TV shows. Such a smooth, brilliant show.
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy all of the WKRP episodes with the original music. Its my favourite show – I’m only sorry I didn’t tape them when I had the chance. – the new version with the altered music just isn’t the same.
So smooth with his delivery. The crowd was digging his reaction;s to Loni’s feet.
@deedubya286 ya your right! great show
I bought the DVDs, and man, was I disappointed when they cut scenes out, and messed with the music….glad to see this!!
What episode was this from ??
Why do you do it..??I
In the next twenty years you will be able to use a vid- psycgopathology – teleporter that will do it for you..
@nostalgia43 thats what i do with alot of the videos from back then on youtube. The TV shows and movies, certain exerps and scenes that were on back then take me back mentally to those days so what I’ll do is : use a camcorder to record those things from youtube in a certain order, then put them on a VHS tape and watch whenever I feel nostalgiac. This year though , I got video tape of those places I went back to from long ago to add in. I call them ” corridor tapes” as in corridor to the past
@spcmn77 Ya, sometimes I wish I had a video tape of my entire life. Then, I could put it on the dvd and watch certain years of my life on the boob tube. That would be awesome.
@nostalgia43 ( message 3) From this, i’ve learned to cherish my memmories like a treaure chest I neevr knew I had, yet was buried in my mind all the time, buried under years of more endless memmories. Enjoy : ) It is a trip well worth the effort.
@nostalgia43 ( continued from last comment ) once you get in the habit you wont be able to stop yourself. You’ll find yourself digging back so far and so fast within a year that you wont be able to keep up, but you WILL remmemebr. And if you run itno any bad memmories, just remind yourself it happened long ago and you were a different person. Who you are now is far superior to your former self and cannot be as effected. Good Luck and enjoy the “journey” …should you decide to go back.
usa a tape recorder, go to any place you grew up that you recal you had one of the best times of your life ( teenage years, childhood…whichever) and as you walk through these places, record what you remember. It’s to be a shortcut from writing such memmories down because there won’t be enough time, they’ll more likely come at you all at once. Talk about how you felt, what happened, what you ate that day. Those are ” trace memmories” and will help you recall “everything” you thought was lost.
@spcmn77 what is the technique?
