it’s a toy slides projector
i am so amazed….where do you find all these things????
I started collecting toys in the late eighties. Years and years of flea markets, garage sales, ads in the papers, toy fairs, gifts…
That’s what i thought!! I had the first version of this in the early 60s. It was called the Kenner Give-A-Show Projector. The projector was red, and all the filmstrips included in mine were Hanna-Barbera. It was one of the coolest toys I ever had. I’m gonna have to try & find one on ebay soon.
Do you have the filmstrips that go with it, and have you used it??
hmmmmm…….i wonder if anyone ever made a projector that will project Viewmaster reels onto a screen or wall?? THAT would be awesome!!
for viewmasters look here:

I have a few boxes of filmstrips and 2 projectors and yes I used them, my parents gave my the Aristocats projector on Christmas 1976, along the years I lost the slides and the projector was thrown away but a few years ago I found another one at a flea market, same box, same slides… I almost cryed!
The second one is Hanna & Barbera’s. I bought it in the late nineties with the boxes of strips in the same shop where my parents bought the Aristocats one in 1976.

What is that blue TV? We love it and must find one now!!!
It’s a toy tv set, it works with super 8 film cartridges, it’s the only one with sound.
It’s fantastic!!!!!! Hopefully we can find one! Any recommendations on where to look besides eBay?
It’s reminiscent of our Orbitel TV:

@ gonkedglookedslurped: Gee I just found your comment now. I have no idea of where you can find one (beside ebay); maybe at Vintage Toys Fairs.
