I bet when Nimoy punches Shatner at 3:17, Nimoy wasn’t really acting, nor was the assault actually included in the script. Nimoy’s wanted a piece of that asshole for years, and finally saw his opportunity.

@McCoyFan The only problem was “Star Trek IV” didn’t come out until ’86. “Star Trek III” came out after Nimoy did this episode, over a year later. At the time this aired, Spock was still dead and on Genesis.
I remember watching this ep live…jeez been awhile.

@flinares01 yeah and did you notice that other guy who played amanda tapping’s dad in stargate sg1? Its a small universe. Anyway btw how did i miss this episode lol? And about the ‘i love whale’ sticker McCoyfan mentioned? That is frightening, and the actress playing Nimoy’s daughter here is a lot like the actress who played that whale doctor in ST4: so wonder if Nimoy got the idea for that film here at some subconcious level.
