@kd0duj Yup, great cop shows, beats all the overdone cop shows out now, hands down.
Fuck cop shows now – overblown garbage! TJ Hooker and other shows were much better and the characters were more likable.

It was airing in France in the mid 90′s.. One of my first TV memory. I was mesmerized by Shatner’s uncanny ability to always catch the bad guys in the end. Also, Heather was my first crush.

I count 3 moving vehicles jumped onto, 1 exploding car, 1 car sliding into oil cans, 1 cop car randomly flipping over for no discernible reason, and 3 shots of Heather Locklear in her prime.

Where was the ice slide? And surely the titles are wrong, it’s not starring William Shatner, it’s starring Captain Kirk-as we all thought back then.
If you watch the intro again it’s like a whole episode: Some people get out of cars and sort of pose a bit, Kirk runs through the trees like a robot (It’s running Jim, but not as we know it!!!) that lou Diamond Philips type guy gets out the shower and Kirk cleverly tackles a plane and gets the bad guys before walking along de-briefing people.

Wow watching this intro really brings back a lot of memories from the 80s!!! Can not believe the William Shatner now and back then….lol!!! I used to LOVE watching this show!!!
With out Heather Locklear this series would have failed.

after just watching the intro i decided to work out how fast TJ Hooker was running between those trees. Using various mathematical equations i worked it out at 38.4 mph which is faster than Usain Bolt ! FACT !
