@richardwha Your comment was probably one of the best I’ve seen. And, you’re correct that that particular line was probably one of the worst in film history. But, in spite of that bad line, I maintain that overall, this wasn’t a terribly bad remake. I believe much could have been made of this. But, as you alluded to, a screener to eliminate stupidity would be necessary.
When the door opens at the start of the vid. If you played Halo 1 you know they use that same sound !

I’m by no means a fan of remakes but this would’ve been an interesting movie to watch. A new series? Hmm, have to wait and see on that.

So they are not suppose to change anything back in 1944 then why are they carring wpns—if the kill anyone or ANYTHING that would change their “Future Present”.
@swede85 Well, FOX could have aired it during the summer months back then. Someday it will air late at night on some cable channel.

I enjoyed the original as a youth and the reruns on DVD with my sons. I would have enjoyed watching this as a series as well.”

The Time Tunnel really makes ‘em work for it, don’t it? The SGC teams just have to “step” through their portal and they’re done. Lazy buggers.

All this prep is so god damned old fashioned, we have to wait 20 minutes before anything happens, when we already know that the guy has to go into the tunnel.

It’s like a cross between stargate and sliders!! Silders had the same traffic light thing in the pilot.
Why dont they show this on Sci Fi channel??
