Essa influenciou muita gente no Brasil e ainda influencia, espero que o pessoal que diz fazer rock no Brasil hoje ouça isso!! ahahahaha
To think that earlier in the same day, Sting was filmed in the movie Quadrophenia, took a plane to make it to this show, and a few minutes before going onstage he nearly blinded himself with hair spray (hence the big sunglasses)
amazing how this still sounds fresh after all these years. Freaking amazing live too.
fuck man! It’s amazing how they sounded!!!! Pure Energy!!!!
this was the last great rock band in the tradition of the 60′ and 70′s – not their music style – but in terms of musician ship, talent and creativity and song writing

Ah… Those big shades, a result of Sting nearly blinding himself with hair spray, so he wore Stewart’s shades…
i remember when i was a school boy and my dad used to say to me is the only words to this song can stand losing you
superb.
This has to be up there with one of the best live TV performances ever. The Police were simply brilliant in the very early days.
Man, Andy Summers looked like Rhys Ifans back in the day . . .
HEY !!! WATCH “JELLY PLANE” on YOUTUBE !!!
@newowned …and with no caps too…ha
@panhead55 …really? Not only do you post this shitty joke that has been posted so many times before, but you can’t think of anything cleverer than ‘…is good’?
27 people think justin bieber is good..
The DJ’s on KSAN ere playing the new Police 45 that had just come out,they apparently didn’t like the sentiment in “Next To You “, ripped the needle across the record then threw it across the room and said, ” No one should ever feel that bad about breaking up with someone !! ”
it was a nice radio moment.
@GreenKnightPendragon October, to promote the debut album ‘Outlandos D’Amour’
What’s interesting is Sting liked punk but was more raggae and jazz. Andy is same but a little more edgy. They build the songs and the concepts, but what really punches you in the gut is Stewart. When Stewart gets fired up, especially as the song builds up it’s force, what he adds is ‘angst’. Punk, to me, is a bit of a misnomer word – I like angst. To me, Stewart makes the perfect punctuation to the whole concept when he turns the songs toward the “now I’m pissed” side..
