Dr Who: Daleks vs Mechons – the Third Peter Cushing film trailer…

Everyone knows that there were two Dalek films in the 1960s starring Peter Cushing. It’s not generally knwon that there was a third film made in 1967, based on the Doctor Who TV serial ‘The Chase’. The master print of the film was lost in a fire in the Aaru / Amicus archives before the film was officially released. In 2009, in a box of dusty, charred old film canisters in the basement of a church in northern England, I located the last surviving footage from this film. All that survived was the trailer… I hope you enjoy it! Andrew (Voiceover by Mole – PA Smith)

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century Fan Trailer

A movie-style trailer for the short-lived but awesome TV series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. This is not a music video or montage. I met stars Gil Gerard, Erin Gray and Felix Silla this year and they are amazing people and very gracious. I have dedicated this trailer to them. I hope the many Buck Rogers fans here enjoy this one. If you haven’t seen the series, it’s a very cool and groundbreaking show for its time. This video does not intend to infringe on any copyrights held by Universal Pictures and has not been duplicated for profit. I own the DVDs this trailer is made from and this work is intended to be a tribute by a fan to the cast and crew of this fantastic series.

STICK TO YOUR GUNS 1941 HOPALONG CASSIDY TRAILER

Theatrical trailer for the 1941 Hopalong Cassidy western, STICK TO YOUR GUNS, starring William Boyd as Cassidy, Andy Clyde and Brad King. Attractive Jennifer Holt, daughter of screen legend Jack Holt and sister of another populaer star, Tim Holt, has the female billed as “Jacqueline Holt.” Between 1935 and 1948 Boyd would star in a total of 66 Hoppy westerns, the last 12 of which he produced himself. After the theatrical market for the Cassidy westerns diminished, he released 52 of the films to television and bacame one of the most iconic figures of the 1950s. Though no new Hopalong Cassidy theatrical features were made, the success of the original films spawned 52 half-hour television programs, a radio series and lucrative merchandising and licensing with perhaps thousands of items bearing the familiar Cassidy image. There was even plans for a big budget Technicolor western with Bing Crosby and Boyd titled PARDNERS, but the film was never made.
