Mitch Miller competed with the early years of Rock and Roll and did fairly properly, thank you. This tune was on the charts for 19 weeks and even reached quantity 1 when “Rock Around the Clock” and “Ain’t That a Shame” were also competing for air time. Wonderful that the sheet music for this song featured Johnny Desmond on the cover. Talk about missing the boat!
