Season 7 Finale (Falcon Crest)

In the final episode of season 7, The Thirteen are determined to kill Richard (David Selby) and Angela (Jane Wyman) and they brainwash Eric (John Callaghan) to kill them both. When shots ring out at Falcon Crest Richard pushes his mother to the ground and Angela only suffers a flesh wound. Touched by Richard’s obvious concern Angela tells Richard she cares a great deal about him. Richard goes to New York to meet with The Thirteen. He offers his life in exchange for the safety of Maggie (Susan Sullivan) , Angela, and his children. All he asks is twelve hours to say goodbye to everyone. And he doesn’t want to know when or how he’ll be killed. The Thirteen’s vote is unanimous. Richard reminds them that if they don’t honor their end of the bargain, he will see to it that they join him in hell. Richard gives his sons a farewell hug and gets into bed with Maggie. They profess their profound feelings for each other and reflect on their life together. After his wife drifts off to sleep, Richard dresses and leaves. Waking on the dewy grass outside his home, he comes across Eric, who shoots him.

The X Files: Season 8 Finale | Epic Scene.

READ ALL DESCRIPTION/EXPLANATION: For those of you who do not know about The X Files – This scene is so powerful in it’s tiniest form. Scully… was abducted about 6 years before this very scene and because of that she was left barren, but did not find out until she was diagnosed with cancer 2-3 years later. – Mulder ended up finding her ova while she had cancer, but did not want to tell her about their invalidity while she was sick. But, in season 7 the truth was revealed to her. & she took the ova to another doctor for a second opinion and he told her she could try IVF (in vitro fertilization), she just needed a donor. She asked Mulder to donate his sperm for the procedure. He hesitated his answer at first, with fear it would come between their strong friendship. But, he agreed cause he just wants her to be happy. Unfortunately, the IVF was a failed procedure. Although Mulder is a believer and told her to “Never give up on a miracle.” It is believed by many (us avid viewers) that after those words, the two had slept together. It was never really talked about… or shown on screen. But, all signs pointed in that direction by the time she was pregnant in the season 7 finale. I hope that made more people appreciate the intense power of this little scene. & to add to it’s epicness I added some past and future scenes from the series to help bring MORE meaning to what they are actually talking about to one another. Because, they may not be saying it in SO MANY words, but that

Edie Adams – That is All (I Adore Lucy Series Finale)

From the episode, “Lucy Meets the Moustache” of the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. The song meant so much more because it was the last episode of the well-liked I Really like Lucy series. Lucy and Desi were also divorcing right after a long tumultuous marriage. They nonetheless loved every other quite considerably, but the issues that plagued the marriage couldn’t preserve them together. However, they remained buddies even after they married other people, and when Desi died, Lucy was devastated. So in a sense, this song was meaningful for them both. All that they could give every single other was really like….that’s all. The last lines of the show…. Lucy: “Honey, honey, I just wanted to support.” Ricky: “From now on, you can help me by not trying to help me. But thanks, anyway.” — That is All Lyrics & Music by Alan Brandt and Bob Haymes, 1952 [brackets indicate Edie Adams' variation on the song] I can only give you adore that lasts forever And a [the] promise to be near every time you call And the only heart I own for you and you alone That is all, that’s all I can only give you country walks in springtime And a hand to hold when leaves begin to fall And a love whose burning light will warm the winter night That is all, that’s all There are those I am certain [who] have told you They would give you the world for a toy All I have are these arms to enfold you And a enjoy even time can’t destroy [And a really like time can by no means destroy] If you’re questioning what I’m asking in return, dear You will be glad to know that my demands are little Say it’s
