From the episode, “Lucy Meets the Moustache” of the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. The song meant so much more because it was the last episode of the well-liked I Really like Lucy series. Lucy and Desi were also divorcing right after a long tumultuous marriage. They nonetheless loved every other quite considerably, but the issues that plagued the marriage couldn’t preserve them together. However, they remained buddies even after they married other people, and when Desi died, Lucy was devastated. So in a sense, this song was meaningful for them both. All that they could give every single other was really like….that’s all. The last lines of the show….
