GREG MAY of Orlando, FL says: “DON HASTINGS (Jack Lane) spoke the opening words on the very first episode of “The Edge of Night” on April 2, 1956. In 1960 he moved to “As The World Turns” as “Bob Hughes’ – the love interest of the classic soap bitch ‘Lisa’ .”
Also, Stephen Elliott would have a long and distinguished career as a character actor, one of my favorite actors.
I recall that Mary Fickett would later play Ruth Brent Martin for many years on “All My Children.”
