Elliot and Connie remained married. They eventually left the show.
My earliest TV memory: Seeing Adrienne fall to her death on the stairs of the Peyton mansion. I was five years old: I haven’t had a chance to see the episode since1967, and I can still hear the dialogue that preceded that very dramatic moment. No wonder I’m a big Gena Rowlands fan. ;^) I would be immensely grateful if somebody would post that scene to YouTube.

I saw the Peyton Place show enough to know that Elliot and Connie remained married.They left town in June,1968 with their son Matthew.
