Highly recommend the book,
“One Life to Live” is beautifully written with common sense, humor, and lots of real-life examples. The writing touches the readers in a profound way. The advice provided in the book seems to apply to people of all ages, though the author had young-adult readers in mind. Reading “One Life to Live”, one cannot help thinking how our world will be, if everyone adheres to the basic philosophy of living a simple and good life as outlined in the book. In addition, I found the appendix on Page 151, “Words of Wisdom”, a very insightful reference. It is a collection of short quotes from ancient philosophers. How well these quotes apply to us today! For people who are not familiar with some of the famous ancient phisolophers, the final appendix, “Who is who”, is a quick learning tool. The book should be a must-read.
