   I downloaded this ebook when it was listed as a freebie. The author may want to reconsider the labeling of this title. She states it is her first Young Adult Novel. I think the young adult description may be fine, but calling it a novel is a stretch. The ebook clocks in at 1284 Kindle locations. Smashwords . com states it is approximately 26,000 words.

   No big deal. I just thought I would list it here for other readers expecting something longer.

   The issue that made me not continue reading (and I may still go back and finish the story) is the very poor Kindle formatting. There aren’t any line breaks and the paragraph indents are mostly missing. At times there are two or three blank pages in between chapter breaks.

   These are all fixable. I encourage the author to go back and spiff this up a bit.

   Ms. Daugherty has had lots of success with her ebook The Little Known. I have that one in my to-be-read pile.
