This is the good old Household Fortunes. It was recorded from challenge. I prefer this version and just before. Les dennis was the greatest, as I do not actually like the new one with Vernon Kay. Sorry

Does anyone realize, the game board was the same as the one from the USA’S FEUD with Dawson, Combs & Dawson’s return version?
It was better in the old days, before the “celebrity” era. Also they spent only a couple of minutes introducing the familie, which is really all that’s needed rather than the dragged out introductions nowadays that seem to go on forever. Even though the celebrity version is a longer programme overall, they don’t see to get through as many rounds.

The first half of the 1998 series of Family Fortunes was shown on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm and then for the second half was moved back to Saturday evenings as the show was being made way for a new series of Wheel of Fortune.

I’m from USA, and I prefer Les Dennis on Fortunes then any of the hosts of our Fued.
But Richard Dawson was close tbh. =3

Excellent clip from the Les Dennis era of Family Fortunes CentralSouth5 I much prefer this one to the All Star edition with Vernon Kay.
The 1998 Series marked two changes 1. a new gold set 2. a choice of star prize in the Big Money Round.
