@reditreefrogs I don´t think we´re qualified to say wether or not Ace was ”all bussiness” on stage. Yes, he was a good performer and player, but dont the rehearsals, songwriting and recording process count? it´s been well documented that he failed at the latter many times.
Joking on an interview is fine, and Gene was NOT pissed about the fish joke, but about Ace´s whole posture duting the interview: the histerical laughter, constantly cutting other people off, etc etc. -

@DaniloCamargo If you listen to them all and see through the laughs…Gene was upset when he was called a bass (fish) player…So Ace made a joke when asked what he did he replied I’m a trout player (fish)…
Gene’s to serious and the other guys laughed and was having a good time enjoying life…
I’d be proud to have a guitar player like Ace in a band…His attitude was relaxed off the stage and all bussiness on the stage. -

@reditreefrogs You´re wrong. Gene´s whole point in doing an interview and promoting the band is SELLING TICKETS and the band´s image. Both tickets and image won´t be helped by a man acting silly while under the influence during an interview. So I can relate to Gene and Paul, it´s unprofessional to act like Ace did here. Funny, but unprofessional.
