takes me back good song
@bluecheer17 you won’t get any argument from me
Banjo player? Bela Fleck?
VERY COOL!
@Johnfarleymusic This show was on from 1969 to 1972….so somewhere in there
With the possible exception of Toots and the Maytals’, this is the best version of “Take Me Home Country Roads” I’ve ever heard.
Beautiful. Beautiful. Two of the greatest pickers…..extreme authentic talent.
Anyone who has seriously plays guitar knows that Jerry Reed was an incredible picker!!!
most of the time you only saw jerry reed doing simple strumming…..however he could really play well. I saw one performance on youtube where Reed was playing some seriously complicated stuff…..I was shocked, I didn’t know he could play that well. Same Deal with “Elvis Presley”……..he could play guitar fairly well but he chose to use his guitar mostley as a prop
What year was this?
jerry is gone but glen is still here with us
@emmtampa Glen is not dead
@JesusChristsuxCocks was that the official cause of death? lmao
@greenpilgrim50 Sure was!
they are both home with the lord. jesus saves us all
wasn’t he the evil coach in the waterboy?
Back when musicians had real talent. No auto-tune, no hiding behind studio engineers, playing your OWN instrument while you sang – at the same time even! I’m not even a big country fan but I could watch Jerry Reed all day.
Talent!
This is the most spectacular thing I’ve ever seen!
Jerry Reed was known as The Snowman because he snorted so much Cocaine off of Glenn Campbells penis that he finally dropped dead from heart failure on September 1.2008.They did an autopsy of Jerry Reeds stomach and found over two gallons of moonshine and three gallons of Glenn Campbells semen.
I loved this show when it was originally broadcast, but I love it even more now.Who knew that real music would become an endangered species?
I love this!!!
Damn, I gotta grow me sum sideburns !
hey these two vets sound pretty good harmonizing…man this was TV..I mean real TV that entertained us week in and week out……..music was great too…..ty…..alyagotado
Damn I feel old! Love the music still!
