Flip was about the cutest thing. Never cursed. Saw him as a kid with my sister. Had us rolling in the aisles way before the Flip Wilson show. Love and miss this guy. Believe me. Thanks for the upload. That purple is awesome lol!

This is classic Geraldine! I wish there was video of Flip doing his “Christopher Columbus” bit, but I think it was only on his album “Cowboys and Colored People”. It is hilarious! Queen Isabella sounds suspiciously like Geraldine. “Chris gonna fiiiiind Ray Charles!”
I remember seeing these shows on tv when I was a kid. It was a family show that parents were not ashamed to sit down and watch with their kids. Very funny , with entertainers such as the Jackson 5 , and The Temptations. Flip was always funny and had great guests. I really miss shows like these. RIP Flip we miss you !
Talk about talent. I saw Mr. Wilson here in Chicago at the Regal when I was real young. A comedian so clean you could take the younger ones and laugh all over the place. This is where all the concepts of Wanda, SheNaNa, Big Mama, Madea came from. Still they cannot compare!
