Oh my gosh!!! That just made my day! I forgot about this part of the J. Gleason Show..when I was a little girl, I’d watch this sitting by my Dad and it was his favorite part of the show! Thanks for the great memories!
Crazy was a pretty good vocalist too remember he would sing a song at the end of these skits…?
Oh my the inspiration to my maddness. Ol Crazy was a favorite of mine as a child, as was The Jackie Gleason Show… I’ve done impresonations of Crazies laugh and his talk. What memories, had to wipe a tear….
@TomBarrister — Back then it seemed like every boy did two impersonations well; Crazy Guggenheim and Curly Howard.

Two class acts, back when tv entertainment didn’t mean constant swearing, violence, references to sex, or toilet humor. Unfortunately, it’s an era that the world will never return to. Fortunately, instances of it have been preserved for the future.
We watched Gleason every week. This was my favorite part of this version of the show. My parents had the Frank Fontaine album. And at school we copied Crazy’s laugh.
1st time I saw this skit w/ the Birthday for Jackie..er, Joe. Great memories of Joe the Bartender & Crazy Guggenheim… thanks for posting.
WOW! This really takes me back…….
I kinda get kinda emotional when I see these two. Thanks so much for the memories!

It’s wonderful to see these again. This birthday one is special. I was just a kid when I first saw these. I’m in my mid 50′s now. Thanks so much for making these available.
Loved the show ,but Jackie Gleasons hairdo was like wow in those days.
You are quite welcome, Rifleman.
HI, IM A TOUGH GUY BUT IM PROUD TO SAY THESE JACKIE GLEASON /FRANK FONTAINE SKITS MAKE ME CRY WITH JOY TO SEE THEM AGAIN, I CAN REMEMBER WATCHING THE SHOW WITH MY MOTHER, FATHER, & BROTHER ON SATURDAY NIGHTS , IT WAS MY JOB TO BRING IN THE GLASSES OF GINGER ALE ON A TV TRAY, & I WOULD STICK MY FINGER IN THEM JUST LIKE “JOE THE BARTENDER” TO STOP THE FIZZ, MAY GOD BLESS YOU THANKS,-MIKE.
