I’m 32 and a big fan of Vince Edwards because I was a small girl. My mom and I watched reruns of BEN CASEY in the 1980′s when I was growing up. Vince was a hunk as nicely as a wonderful actor. My heart is heavy since we lost him considerably too soon. I really like and miss you Vince. Here are some distributors’ emails you can email and request that Vince’s two television series “BEN CASEY” and “MATT LINCOLN” be released on dvd. Thank you. Hi Alasdulcinea . Thank you for your comments .
Thanks for your tribute. I just learned just moments ago that he is no longer living. In looking at the old photos I now realize why, as a young girl, I found him to be such a heart throb. He’s my favorite television actor of all times. I would like so desperately to see some of the old Ben Casey episodes. I used to comment on the weekly shows in my diary!
Vince, it’s so hard to believe it’s been 15 years since you left us . How I love you and miss you . And know that you are loved by many and missed greatly .
Remembering Vince on the 15th year of his passing. You are still very much beloved and missed. Distributors wake up and release Ben Casey and Matt Lincoln.

@JCGreenEyes Hi. I know someone who has a lot of Jack’s guestings. I tried to send you a message, but it would not go through.
@oceandiver75 My pleasure!
@jsbach15 Thank you very much for taking the time to share that wonderful memory. Vince is my favorite actor. There is a video of him on The Mike Douglas show from Feb. 1969. It showcases what a warm,. genuine, class guy he was. Also, a very underrated actor who was typecast after Ben Casey for being “too good in the role”. The Mike Douglas show with Vince can be seen on youtube.
@jsbach15 . Hi jsbach . Thank you so much for sharing your story about a very special , caring , warm , loving man !!!!
I was eating in a local restaurant years ago when a man slowly walked by the booth in which I was sitting. He paused ever so slightly, looking directly at me, and I looked directly at him. Within an instant, he knew, that I recognized who he was. Never a word crossed between us, but the knowledge of knowing the adoration of a fan was ever present. That man in the restaurant was Vince Edward.
@pbcwerner Thank you so much for your comments . Yes , he was a wonderful actor and I miss him as well
Vince Edwards was a great actor and human being. He had me hypnotic in his role as the doctor. I miss him too!
@hippiegirl58 YES INDEED , HE IS THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU VINCE . FOREVER IN MY HEART
Vince Edwards’ appearance on the Mike Douglas show on Feb. 1969 has been posted. It showcases what a warm, class gentleman he is.

To Spacepatrolman: Thanks for the mention of The Untouchables: ‘The Jake Lingle Killing’
Yes, I am into Jack Lord…and collect material on him…So if anyone out there has GOOD copies of TV Guestings, Stoney Burke Series, movies, and some Hawaii Five 0 — please contact me — some evil person stole my collection a while back and I’m trying to replace them. I will pay reasonable prices and postage…Thanks
@JCGreenEyes if your into jack lord or sitting on the edge of your seat type dramas then watch the jake lingle killing episode of the untoucables they just put it back in here
@Rigelcentauri58 and besides, he was a gentleman.
@spacepatrolman He was inspiring: A real Doctor who cared about fellow men, fought against illness, tried to cure people¨s mind, heart and spirit not putting money or prestige first. I wish i could be or have a Doctor like him.
@terrystrand dr. kildare was merley an intern he didnt have the clout of ben crazy a nuerosurgeon who will step on anyone who gets in his way even dr. zorba he does this to save lives of course [but dont forget that the first dr . kildare was lew ayres a concientious objector in world war 2 who was in 6 battles as a medic .]
@Rigelcentauri58 vince said on a talk show that doctors told him that
loved ben casey.he epitomized the standards doctors still should follow today.
@oceandiver75 Beautiful poem. Thank so much for sharing. I know hundreds of thousands like you and I love and miss Vince.
God gave a gift to the world when you were born—
a person who loves, who cares,
who encourages and lifts people up,
someone who touches each life
and makes a difference in the world,
because ripples of kindness flow outward
as each person you have touched, touches others.
Your birthday deserves to be a national holiday,
because you are a special treasure
for all that you’ve done.
Happy 82 nd Birthday Vince up there in Heaven !!!!
I love you and miss you
