I spent many sick days property from school, in bed consuming tomato soup and watching the several game shows that Bill Cullen hosted. It just wouldn’t have been the 50s-60s without him.
This advertisement for Tender Leaf Tea Bags is from the July 1959 concern of Loved ones Circle magazine.
I need new glasses. I was sure the box said "Tender LOAF" in the thumbnail.
I don’t remember Bill Cullen looking quite this goofy, but he was also older by the time I started seeing him on TV.
I saw "loaf" too. I’ve got to say, I was somewhat disappointed to find "leaf" instead. Still love it though.
